This week, I'm mixing it up a little!  Starting with a little "Blog" and weaving everything else into the story.......  here goes:-

So..... we’ve had the most powerful lunar eclipse this Century, - last night for those unaware of such things..... with five planets all lined up - all in retrograde, including our beloved Planet of Communication: Mercury...... (the others being Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto); we had a Blood Red Moon, to-boot, caused by the Atmospheric Peculiarities in the sky......

And..... Guess what? An extraordinary happening for us in the UK to witness? No.......the majority of the UK, after weeks pf relentless clear skies and baking temperatures, had dark black clouds; masses of rain and thunder and lightning - again!

Why is it, I remonstrated with the ‘Spiritual Powers That Be’ is this always the case when some extraordinary astronomical phenomenon is actually going to be visible in our neck of the woods?! Mars to be visible to the naked eye, nestled just close to the moon; five planets in retrograde; amazing longest lunar eclipse of the century overhead etc etc......

How could this possibly be perfect?!

Well...,, what happened for my friend, Jen (who's just back from L.A. and staying with me for a while) and me, was that we suddenly had a change of plan only 35 minutes ahead of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse as another friend rang, who live in Europe, and suggested she and I connect ‘spiritually’ at the appointed time whilst she swam in her local lake and I was in the sea!

Well...... amongst my friends, I am known to only go in the sea when it is warm! And never at night! I decided, though, that this occasion warranted an exceptional change to my usual way of being and felt that, as rain was still forecast, I may as well be in the sea, anyway!

Jen, with the excuse her swimming costume was back in L.A. wriggled out of joining me in the water, and, though, came along to support me..... (I lent her my umbrella!)

Earlier in the week I had drawn The Lady of Lightning Oracle Card from The Wisdom of The Hidden Realm pack by Colette Baron-Reid. It is about BIG changes on the horizon; even total paradigm shifts!

I recalled this card at the point of walking into the English Channel, here in St Leonard’s, as there, low on the horizon, behind the dark black cloud, was a sudden flash of blanket lightning! As I continued into the sea, and began my Invocation to the Heavens; Elements and the Hindu Goddesses Sarasvati (Goddess of Knowledge; Creativity & Music) and Lakshmi (Goddess of Abundance) with their counterparty, the Elephant-Headed God Ganesh (the Overcomer of Obstacles) huge big horizontal fork lightning lit up the sky - SO dramatic behind the black clouds!

WOW! How perfect was that?! And, as I threw the stones I’d collected on the beach into the sea as I ended my prayer for peace and harmony between men and women; the continuing rise of the Divine Feminine and all disharmony between all people on the planet to be dispersed (it IS possible!) a particularly powerful fork lightning flash erupted across the low skyline - it seemed to me - to add its own ‘thumbs up’ to my intentions!

So, we never got to see the moon, let alone the eclipse, yet the power of nature was very present indeed last night AND I felt a positive omen of big changes for the positive in our world..... let us see what unfolds.....

Oh, and to keep things in balance, my dear friend wrote to let me know that the moon was very present above her lake and, my dear Obi, over in Southern Sweden had organised a last minute get-together with fellow spiritually-minded friends at his place where they sat and chanted; sang; played instruments and generally had a great party around a fire whilst they enjoyed the spectacle overhead, complete with the sight of Retrograde Mars nestling under the moon!  Highly energising!

P.S. This week’s recipe is my ‘Kill All Known Germs Preparation’ - so-called because you literally feel any bugs disperse quickly as you swallow the mixture! Chosen because I woke with a scratchy throat - it would seem the English Channel isn’t as clean as I thought! This is a useful preparation to make and keep for any sudden onset of germs. It takes two-three weeks to mature, and is really easy to maintain.
