We all had a fabulous time - feedback above from two of our lovely participants: Hazel Cake and Samantha Davies - thanks for coming along! What we did:-
Held in the exquisite Wild Flower Meadow; Sacred Oak Glades and Magical St Helen's Spring in the Ancient St Helen's Woods, Hastings.
We began at one of the glorious Oaks, in St Helen's Woods, which is partially surrounded by a wooden bench. Emily started by guiding everyone through a negative energy-removal and consequent protection meditation. She then took everyone through a Shamanic Guided Meditation, going deep into a crystal cave with a magical opening to the molten mass of Mother Earth. Each person had either their ancestors or personal Angels with them, who gave them gifts - placing them deep into their hearts before enfolding them in their loving arms. As people "came to" from their meditative state, Emily invited all to pick a card from the Earth Magic Oracle Cards by Stephen Farmer and the read the message to each of them.
We then proceeded to do a Silent Meditative Walk through the woods, where everyone put their attention on either sound; hearing or touch as Emily led the way to her special “Hidden” Oak, only accessible through a magical 'Fairy Gateway'. Emily illustrated how this particular Oak Tree had protected itself and its environment from negative outside influences and how this can teach us to do the same in our own lives.
Emily then lead the way through the woods to the 'Wild Flower Meadow' where - unfortunately, due to the very dry weather, and unexpected grazing horses, all wild flowers were absent!
Obi thus led the way to a beautiful large Oak Tree where he started his talk about 'Energy' and how we can harness more of it from Nature. As mentioned by Hazel in the video, we were somewhat gatecrashed by a particularly enthusiastic horse, which actually fell greatly in love with Obi as you can see at the bottom of the page ! So we took an executive decision and "decamped" directly to our final destination: The 1000-year old St Helen's Spring!
Obi continued his talk about the 5000-year old ancient art of 'Tibetan Mizong Qigong', and why it is at its most powerful when practiced in nature. Demonstrating the power of this, most eloquently, he guided us all through his beautiful 'Standing Tree' Meditation and then proceeded to guide us through the most exquisite and energising warm-ups, starting from our feet to the top of our heads, teaching us the special 'Qigong Breathing ' and gracefulness along the way, where he taught us how to boost and store our energy.
He then took us through a set of 18 Qigong Movements, so that by the end we felt energised; worked-out and totally relaxed! An interesting state to be in!
We finished the day by tasting some of the deliciously crisp and clear water from the ancient Spring and Well before Emily unpacked the picnic she had prepared of special Citrus Tea of Life and Jasmine Pu Erh Teas; her homemade Almond & Kale Chips and her Goodie Two-Shoes Chocolate Brownies - taste utterly divine whilst being totally healthy!
