An article written in The Telegraph on 1st November 2018, cited the fact that there were almost 6,000,000 new or long-standing cases of stress; anxiety or depression in 2017/18. This resulted in a total of 15.4 million working days being lost, up from 12.5 million in 2016/17. The article continues by stating that this accounts for 57.3% of all working days lost to illness, according to figures released by the Health and Safety Executive.
The second most prevalent workplace illnesses were Musculoskeletal disorders, with 469,000 workers suffering from new or long-standing musculoskeletal conditions in 2017/18, accounting for 6.6 million days lost to illness.
So.... What is Pain Management?
Well, the pharmaceutical approach to Pain Management is to put you on painkillers. These can, of course help, and, if your “pain” is psychological, they put you on drugs to help manage or “dim” your emotional stress/anxiety/depression or whatever emotional imbalance you seem to be expressing.
This is all very well, and, though, neither approach actually leads to potentially being able to be permanently FREE of whatever kind of pain you are in!
We offer a totally different kind of approach – and, we never suggest that anyone stops taking any prescribed drugs from their GP or specialist physician! Should they, through working with us, attain a state where they no longer need these drugs, then – with their GP’s help – they could, at that point, gradually reduce their dose to, hopefully, none at all.
Our bodies are not merely a machine, they are in fact “energy” - indeed, everything IS energy (this is the basis of Quantum Physics, after all!) And energy can be changed – from positive to negative and vice versa in numerous kinds of ways.
Time and again, as illustrated in the ancient science of Ayurveda, which means “Knowledge of Life”, the different organs in our body actually correspond to specific emotions we experience – positively and negatively - and when we are out of sync emotionally, we can become physically ill as well and this is where special Tuning Forks can come into their own.
A really simple example of becoming “run down” due to overwork or stress-related issues (at work or in our relationships or everyday lives), is when we can end up getting a cold or virus. This is our body’s way of getting us to slow down and take time out. Emily had a friend many years ago who had a really stressful job as a top P.A. to a leading Financial Director at a big firm in the City of London who, whenever she took a holiday, got a cold! This was because she never allowed her body to recover from her long hours and equally active social life, and thus, the only time the body could get some decent rest was to make her ill!
One of the techniques we use is tapping into the “Secret Language of the Body and Emotions” and thus finding out what emotions are actually attached to the type of physical pain someone is in. We then use specific intuited statements for the person to repeat, requesting the body or mind to come back into a state of balance, as these techniques can be used with visualisation to bring the emotions back into a state of balance as well as the physical body becoming free of pain. We use this in conjunction with other modalities, including Qigong; Meditation; Sound Therapy and Emily’s Bespoke Energy Creams; Sprays and Drops. The latter work on an energetic level, not disimilar to Quantum Physics.
We have also found that when we combine these modalities with Emily's range of Bespoke Energy Creams; Sprays and Drops, (where individuals choose exactly which range they need at that particular time) that - as these products work on quantum or multiple levels: physically; emotionally; mentally and spiritually - they play their part in enabling the individual to return to a place of balance and wellness. Two of the products which are used in individual and group sessions are her Clearance & Protection Spray in conjunction with her Sacred Love Spray. These two powerful Gem and Flower Essence-based products were created intuitively by Emily and contain special blends of specific essential oils designed to bring clarity; balance and upliftment to a person's mood and mindset. The first clears away all negative energies from around and within people's energy fields and the second - made with a combination of Rose; Geranium and Ylang Ylang - immediately brings a sense of calm; joy and focus to the mind.: Perfect for use in Pain Management .
We can tailor our sessions to be on a group or one-to-one basis. The latter sessions allow us to work in a more focused manner with individual staff suffering from stress; anxiety; physical pain and / or emotional problems.
Where we work with Sound Therapy in conjunction with Pain Management and relief. In our work with individual clients, we have successfully worked with special Weighted Tuning Forks, set to the frequency of 111hz. These tuning forks have been created especially to not only relieve pain but also bring the body and mind back into a state of equilibrium and open up the “channels” to our intuition and “higher mind”.
For example, one business-owner client who came to see Emily in September 2018 had been in chronic back pain for three months. After a 25-minute session with her special Silver Singing Bowl and the aforementioned 111hz Weighted Tuning Fork, he had no pain and has been pain-free ever since.
Further more, in Sound Therapy sessions, for example, we use toning, as well. We do this through special Qigong tones, which are designed to bring balance and energy back into specific parts of the body, and breathing into the "pain" to relieve it. We also work using specific tones to bring the individual energy centres in our body back into a state of balance.
We also have a range of tuning forks we work with, to alleviate pain and bring the body back into balance. Included in these treatments are special tuning forks set to the frequencies associated with all the different meridian points for all organs in the body. They are designed to bring these energy channels into balance and work on the Shiatsu / acupuncture / acupressure channels of the body with sound instead of physically touching the skin.
So, by taking a “wholistic” approach to the actual pain being experienced, it is possible not only to “manage” the pain, but also potentially lead to removing it all together.
