Blue Apatite

These magical stones were made into one of my new Gem Essences in August 2022, and connect you to a very high level of spiritual guidance.   

​They are rather interesting stones.  Here's what I found out about them:-

Science & Origin of Apatite
Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral found in a variety of colours such as yellow, blue, green, grey, and brown. The most important colours for metaphysical use are blue, green, and gold.

Apatite was first discovered in 1786 by A.G. Werner.  Its name, though comes from the Greek word meaning “to deceive”, due to many people mistaking it for other minerals such as Peridot and Beryl. The largest Apatite deposit is in Kirovsk, Russia but can also be found in Brazil, Burma, Madagascar, and Mexico.

Meaning & Energy
Blue Apatite is a stone of manifestation, and is attuned to the future.  It helps to activate your psychic abilities and expands your esoteric knowledge. Apatite also stimulates the intellect and brings from the mind down into the earth realm through realisations. Holding this stone in meditation, enables you to go deep within , seeking self-insight and inner clarity.

Apatite will always keep you on a search for “freedom” as it keeps you attuned to always planning what’s next in your life.

They also facilitates public speaking, enhances group communication and opens the chakra, healing the heart and also releasing any emotional dis-ease. It is the interface point between consciousness and matter. A stone of manifestation and; connecting one to humanitarian service, it is attuned to the future, yet connects to past lives to allow anything that has been holding you back, to be released.

They are helpful for developing psychic gifts and spiritual attunement, deepening meditation and raising the kundalini. It aids in communication and self-expression on all levels. On a psychological level, it increases motivation and builds up energy reserves. It encourages and facilitates openness, and social ease, encouraging extroversion, and dissolving aloofness and alienation. It draws off negativity about oneself and others and is particularly helpful for hyperactive and autistic children.

Apatite also helps to stimulate creativity, and the intellect. Apatite also clears confusion, clearing sorrow, apathy and anger, irritability and emotional exhaustion; thus clearing the way for expanding knowledge, both of oneself, as well as others and our interactions with them. Apatite also clears the base chakra, allowing one to clear frustration and endorse passion without guilt.

On a physical level, it is believed to heal bones, and encourage formation of new cells; aid absorption of calcium and helps cartilage; bones; teeth and motor skills, as well as ameliorating arthritis and joint problems. It is also believed to help suppress the appetite and increase metabolism, encouraging healthy eating, healing the glands; meridians and organs.

Here's some more about Apatite:-

• Blue Apatite is known to increase the strength and frequency of lucid dreaming. If you place a piece in your pillow case, it is said that Blue Apatite will lead to increased visionary states, that could then enable you to go temporarily into other realms.
• Blue Apatite also aids in astral projection and allow for “vertical vision”, being able to see all levels of consciousness working in harmony
• Apatite has been known to also successfully suppress hunger. This can work by wearing or carry Apatite daily, or taking it in elixir form.
• Apatite is a fabulous crystal for increasing motivation and building up your energy.  This, in turn, helps towards aiding weight loss.
• It also encourages you towards extroversion,  giving you the confidence to be able to get up and go and do more things.
• Blue Apatite is particularly good for enhancing group communication and making you feel more at ease in social situations.
• It is linked to both the throat and third eye chakras, as well as stimulating and bringing the base chakra into balance.
• Due to Apatite’s abilities to open up your third eye, it really helps you to relax and go into the "non-mind" state during meditating,  and is therefore excellent for long meditation sessions.
• Anyone working on strengthening and unlocking their highest intuition and vision, acquiring a piece of Blue Apatite would be a great thing to do!
• Its vibrations also attract your own personal guides and angels to connect with you, and helps you to communicate with them. 
• ​Apatite is fabulous at balancing all of your “bodies”: physical; mental; emotional and spiritual, enabling you to bring all chakras into balance – eliminating overactivity, as well as stimulating under-activity.
• They are fabulous when used in combination with other crystals, whether through their physical use or as part of an elixir, as it facilitates the collective desired results.
