Wild Violets stimulate the lymphatic glands, helping the body get rid of bacteria and other toxins. It is especially useful for swollen glands. Over time, violets can help clear stubborn problems like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
Taking Violet after a long winter is a wonderful way to get your body ready for a healthy and energetic spring. Violet also supports the immune system, helping to clear infections of all kinds.
It is known as the most effective flower/herb for treating upper respiratory tract infections. It is both soothing and cooling and helps reduce fever and inflammation. Native American populations such as the Cherokee used blue violet to treat colds and headaches, while early botanists suggested it for coughs, sore throats, and constipation. Historically, violet is used to treat dry-lungs. So, it is really effective when you’re feeling dry internally, a dry throat, or dry cough. It is for this reason that it was the first ingredient when I created the Magical Rejuvenation Range in December 2014 during a flu epidemic here in the UK.
The Flower Essence I made is from Wild Violets gathered from my garden, Its wider use has been very effective in repairing muscles and reducing and removing cysts and other anomalies as well as being very effective as a cancer healer.

Further information on Wild Violets:- It is rich in flavonoids, which are antioxidants that help prevent unwanted inflammation. The leaves are delicious to eat, especially the young leaves – fresh, green, and slightly sweet. So, if you have them in your garden, you can pick them add the leaves and flowers to salads. In Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, they come under both pungent and sweet tastes. taste The pungent aspect comes from its aromatic volatile oils, which can be encapsulated either by making a Wild Violet-infused Carrier Oil, like Rice Bran Oil (which has other fabulous benefits – see further below), or by purchasing a Violet Absolute, which is used in perfumery for its green, powdery, and feminine. This essential oil is also used in aromatherapy for its calming effect on the body, mind, and heart. Volatile oils generally have a stimulating effect: violet, though, although it has volatile oils within its makeup, is calming and soothing – so, in a gentle way it sparks and encourages transformation.
Skincare It’s also recommended as a carrier oil for massage, because it is light and moisturising, and may be used in perfumes.
In skin care, violets are reputed to help with oily and sensitive skin. Today we know that the leaves contain salicylic acid, which helps with oily skin, as well as having a moisturising capability that works well on dry, sensitive skin. Non-irritating, blue violet is great for all skin types. It also naturally hydrates the skin, while also stabilising oily skin.
Cleansing: Natural properties make this the perfect ingredient for oily skin formulas, as well as for eyewashes, mouthwashes, and other products made to help cleanse from dirt, oils and impurities.
Salicylic acid: You’ll find this as an active synthetic ingredient in many oily skin formulas, but why not enjoy a natural source instead?
Vitamin C: We know that this nutrient helps protect from environmental stressors and brightens the look of your skin.
Vitamin A: Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, due to its anti-inflammatory capabilities.
Natural oils and mucilage: These help hydrate and plump skin.
Flavenoids: Protect against environmental elements.

Knowing the above, I was guided to create a special Wild Violets in Rice Bran Oil, which I use in the Rejuvenating Eye Cream (part of the Natural Skincare Range).
So all these benefits have been encapsulated into the Rice Bran Oil, through a special infusion process. Therefore the full skincare benefits of Rice Bran Oil are also enjoyed:-
Healing Benefits of Rice Bran Oil:-
Rice Bran Carrier Oil, also called Rice Bran Extract, is derived from the “Bran” layer of a grain of Rice. Bran is hard, brown, and high in oil content.
Rice Bran Oil is known for its ability to cleanse, soften, moisturise, soothe, nourish, and smooth the skin. It slows the look of ageing and brightens the complexion.
Used topically, Rice Bran Carrier Oil improves circulation, evens out skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. It increases skin’s natural regeneration, encourages moisture retention, and soothes irritation.
Used medicinally, Rice Bran Carrier Oil boosts immunity by facilitating the healing of wounds, enhancing cell regeneration, and increasing the body’s defence against toxins that may enter through the skin.
As mentioned above, the Wild Violet Essence was first used in the Magical Rejuvenation Range, because of its Upper Respiratory Tract Infection healing benefits and removal of toxins through the lymphatic system.
