There are a number of different types of Obsidian, all of which are strongly protective stones.   Some work in a gentler manner; however, Black Obsidian in particular, can be sometimes harsh in its ability to cut through what needs to be removed and left behind, so must be used with care. 

Obsidian is a form of volcanic glass, and produces a shield against any sort of negativity, be-it blocking psychic attack; absorbing negative energies from the environment, or drawing out mental stress and tension from the mind and body.

Gold Sheen Obsidian (The “Wizard’s Stone”) – This beautiful stone was sent as a gift to me by a dear customer, in December 2022. I was guided by it that it needed to be made into a Gem Elixir, at the end of that month. The energy of it is phenomenal.
