Well, is it just me, or has 2018 not only gone very quickly but has also been a huge transformer and energy shifter, particularly since the middle of the year?!
If the years continue in such a quick fashion, it is as well that I intend to live until 126 - really healthily of course - then make a decision as to whether or not I wish to stay or ascend fully into the spiritual realm!
Goodness: life is certainly going at a fast pace right now and ‘things’ seem to prevent me from either having the time or even, of-late, the head space to put pen to paper, so-to-speak, and write a Newsletter blog!
For those of you who have known me for some years, I - from time-to-time - have ended up giving refuge to women (one at a time) who have been made temporarily homeless.
I am blessed with a large - very healing - house full of Angels and the garden full of nature spirits and so, back in 2011, I first opened my house up in this way for a friend who fled a very destructive relationship and had nowhere to stay as a friend had let her down. I had only met her once yet could never bear to see anyone homeless, so invited her to come and live here - with her indoor cat.
I was a little anxious about her cat as my Tinkerbell was only newly with me and I had been told by Celia Hammond Animal Trust that she hated all cats - I’d already discovered that in my garden - and so was concerned for ‘X’ as we’ll call him!
Well, we all survived the three months together before my friend left and Tinkerbell gained X’s old extra tall Scratching Post and his ‘catnip-filled banana’! The latter stolen by her from poor sweet ‘X’ one day when she ambushed his room! Poor love........
I have given a home to three more women on their own since then and, though they have all had difficulties financially, they have all given me gifts in other ways and I am as equally grateful to them as they have been to me......
Well, this time, I decided to ‘up-the-ante’ and welcomed a family into my home at the beginning of October; hence my intermittent silences as I have neither had the head space nor the energy to write my newsletters!
All is gradually coming together for them and I am grateful that I have the space to temporarily give beautiful women refuge when needed.
And, looking after a family of four (sometimes five) has been somewhat time consuming so please forgive me for my seeming tardiness in writing!
The beautiful news is that, since the end of September, Obi and I have managed to be able to run three Sound Healing Half-Day Workshops: the first just for adults, which was awesome, and the last two for parents and kids, which were incredibly special.
With regards to the latter, we were blessed to have a number of children who either have autism or who are highly sensitive: all, we are pleased to report, loved it - and not just because of my homemade cakes at the end! We have had great feedback since, from both the parents and the children who came along.
We also held our first Awakening Your Power Talk & Mer-Ka-Ba Activation Meditation in November and were extremely blessed to have 11 people attend, resulting in a delightful evening for all.
I’ve shared some photos at the bottom of the page from our workshops and our talk plus a lovely autumnal shot of my magical Japanese Acer Tree in my garden; a stunning view over the sea and the pier and one of Tinkerbell working hard in the office with me! Her “refuge” from her “healing-cat duties” to our dear house guests! (She's particularly chilled out as I and a dear friend of mine, gave her some Sound and Energy Healing yesterday afternoon! Little darling loved it! She always does......)
I thought I would also let you know that we shall be holding a pre-yuletide Awakening Your Power Talk & Mer-Ka-Ba meditation on Sunday 9th December, 3.00-6.30pm.
As we will be in the Advent /Yuletide Season, we will finish with some of my homemade mince pies with my homemade mincemeat recipe, which is gluten-free; vegan and free from cane sugar, and some of my Goodie Two-Shoes Extraordinaire Christmas Cake (described by one person previously as ‘Christmas in a Square’) to celebrate the season. The latter is actually free from dairy; sugar; eggs; fat and gluten - and tastes like it is the full ‘naughtiness’ - Alchemy at work again!
So it would be super if you can join us both.
We currently have only eight places left as we can accommodate 16 people plus us here in my Dining Room, so if you feel drawn to come, please book in soon!
We shall also briefly be talking about our forthcoming Awakening Your Power 2019 workshops and will have special exclusive offers for early bookings for our January ones on 9th December.
As it is coming up to the festive season, I thought I would add my aforementioned Mincemeat Recipe, which is based on a family recipe of ours to my Recipes Index and I shall be adding the Goodie Two-Shoes Extraordinaire Christmas Cake and the Sugar-Free Marzipan recipes in the next newsletter, which will come out next week some time…...
All these recipes are all suitable for people who are intolerant or allergic to gluten; dairy and eggs and / or are diabetic or vegan. And they love and miss having mince pies and Christmas Cake! My ethos, always, is to make cakes that everyone can enjoy!
In this vein, some of the mince pies will also be made with coconut butter in the pastry and no egg-basting as well.
