A cookery book unlike any other! It is packed full of rejuvenating Cakes; biscuits; health-boosting cordials and drinks; refreshing jams and preserves, as well as special raw "sweets". All of my recipes use special energy-boosting and balancing ingredients, whilst also tasting utterly delicious! Well... yummy-licious, my new word as people kept exclaiming how yummy or delicious my samples were when I held talks! Let's face it; food and drink is there to be enjoyed!
Part One is dedicated to Balance & Wellness and features a comprehensive encyclopedia of information on the secret health benefits of foods, featuring all the ingredients I use in the recipes. It also contains a comprehensive "Ingredients Sourcing" Section to ensure you can get all the ingredients you need easily. Part Two is dedicated to the Recipes and is in Landscape form for ease of use in the kitchen. (I lean the upper pages against the tiles at the back of my kitchen surface. This makes it really easy to not only read the recipes, but also frees up space on the surface).
I use organic ingredients throughout full of natural goodness. The All Singing All Dancing Range of Cake Recipes are made with White Spelt Flour, instead of "modern" wheat, which increasingly causes intolerances in many people; raw cane sugar (which retains all the health benefits of the raw cane) and organic butter and eggs. I then created my special Goodie Two-Shoes and Goodie Two-Shoes Extraordinaire Recipes, which are free from Gluten; Dairy and Sugar, and the "Extraordinaire" recipes are also free from eggs; including my Christmas Cake, which is topped by Sugar-Free Marzipan; my diabetic friends enjoy it every Christmas! Everyone who has tasted any of my samples found it difficult to believe they were free from all these ingredients! I use alternatives to cane sugar, such as Coconut Palm Sugar; Agave Syrup and Date Syrup, along with a unique blend of gluten-free flours, and coconut butter, rather than dairy (it has all the benefits of coconut oil, without tasting of coconut!). The Cordials and Drinks section is dedicated to energy-boosting recipes, ranging from the deliciously warming Ginger Lemon & Lime Cordial through to the antioxidant-packed Power Punch Zing!
Finally, there are the easy-to-make jams and preserves, including sugar-free mincemeat and marzipan recipes, followed by a number of my raw chocolate fudge recipes; a healthy alternative to coconut ice called Coconut Melts, and the Emily's OMG Raw Chocolate (so-called because at its first public tasting, everyone exclaimed "Oh My God!" so said that's what I should call it!). It is packed full of energy-boosting ingredients and is also fabulous for focusing your mind when you need to concentrate on an important task!
